WHAT DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY

Through the use of session and analytical technical cookies, we collect anonymous data relating to traffic on our site, to understand how it is used. Furthermore, when you make a reservation on our website, we explicitly ask for some useful information to manage the service you are requesting. If you decide not to provide us all or part of the requested data, we may not be able to offer you our services.

The data provided will be processed, without your prior consent pursuant to art. 24 lit. b) Privacy Code and art. 6 lett. b) GDPR, for the following service purposes:

  • to carry out the maintenance and technical assistance necessary to ensure the correct operation of the site and the services connected to it;
  • to improve the quality and structure of the site, as well as to create new services, features and / or features of the same;

  • to allow the holder to exercise his rights in court and to repress illegal behavior;

The provision of data by you is necessary to register a reservation. Any refusal to provide such data may make it impossible to provide the services.

Data protection measures: The operating system of the server in which the website and the database are allocated, is installed on a cloud-based hardware infrastructure provided by the company Meginet, able to guarantee high levels of integrity, availability and confidentiality of the information.

The data held by the owner of the site (e-mails and names of any contacts) are kept inside a computer and are accessible to the owner and protected by password access and by external anti-virus and anti-intrusion systems. Any other external icloud systems will further guarantee data retention according to current regulations.

HOW WE COLLECT THE DATA AND FOR HOW LONG

The booking tool on our website is provided by the channel manager Beds24. Through this tool we can receive your reservation and manage it in every phase until your departure from our structure.

Duration of Treatment: only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and, in any case, no later than 7 days from their collection for the purposes of booking.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR DATA

Your data is stored on a secure server. Who has access to them: the data controller and the administrative staff of The Roof, as well as our legal and commercial consultancy, and the technical maintenance staff of the website.

Mode, place and duration of treatment

The processing of your data is carried out by means of the operations indicated in art. 4 of the Privacy Code and art. 4 n. 2) GDPR and in particular: collection, registration, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, access, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and destruction of data.

The Data Controller processes the Personal Data of Users by adopting appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction of Personal Data.

Processing is carried out using IT and / or telematic tools, with organizational methods and with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated.

In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, they may have access to the Data external parties (such as third party technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies, accountants and lawyers) also appointed, if necessary, Data Processors by the Data Controller.

You have the right to exercise the rights referred to in art. 7 of the Privacy Code and art. 15 of the GDPR.

In particular, you have the right, at any time, to obtain from the Data Controller the confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning you, even if not yet registered, and their communication in intelligible form.

You will be able, under the conditions established by the GDPR, to exercise the rights set out in articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR and, in particular, the following rights:

  • right of access – article 15 of the GDPR: the right to obtain confirmation that personal data concerning you is being processed and, in this case, obtain access to your personal data, including a copy thereof;
  • right of rectification – article 16 of the GDPR: right to obtain, without undue delay, the correction of inaccurate personal data concerning you and / or the integration of incomplete personal data;
  • right to cancel (right to be forgotten) – article 17 of the GDPR: right to obtain, without unjustified delay, the cancellation of personal data concerning you.
  • right of processing limitation – article 18 of the GDPR: right to obtain limitation of treatment, when:
  1. you contexts the accuracy of personal data, for the period necessary for the controller to verify the accuracy of such data;
  2. the processing is illegal and you opposes the cancellation of personal data, and ask, instead, that its use is limited;
  3. personal data are necessary for the assessment, exercise or defense of a right in court;
  4. you opposed the treatment pursuant to art. 21 of the GDPR, during the waiting period for the verification of the possible prevalence of legitimate reasons of the data controller with respect to yours.
  • right to data portability – article 20 of the GDPR: right to receive, in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device, the personal data concerning you provided to the controller and the right to transmit them to another controller without impediments, if the treatment is based on consent and is done by automated means.
  • opposition right – article 21 of the GDPR: right to object, at any time for reasons connected with its particular situation, to the processing of personal data that is based on the lawfulness of legitimate interest or the performance of a task in the public interest or exercise of public powers, including profiling, unless there are legitimate reasons for the Data Controller to continue processing that prevail over the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the assessment, exercise or defense of a right in court. Furthermore, the right to oppose the processing at any time if personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, including profiling, to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing.

The exercise of your rights is free under article 12 of the GDPR. However, in the case of manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, also due to their repetitiveness, the controller may charge a reasonable fee, for the administrative costs incurred to manage the request, or deny the satisfaction of his request.
